Don't hold back!

How often do we commit to our selves to being all of us, to expressing all of us, to actually putting that side of us on the line and embodying all we are, body, mind, spirt, words, thoughts, opinions, beliefs and all?

Every day in one way or another we wake up and put ourselves on the line, but in many ways we hold back…

We don’t say the things we wish we did, we don’t speak up and communicate what we do and don’t want or even that in which we deserve.

People come and go, and we let time go by without ever saying what we should have, we look back and think about all those little things that could have been said & often we let people out of our lives without truly letting them IN or even knowing what impact they really had on us.

Big or small, there is always an impact, but we get so caught up being busy that often we don’t stop to pay any attention….. & when we do and we have something to express we are sooooo busy worried about judgement, the conversations, what people will think, or how things pay change, we allow our selves to rattle in our own heads of persecution and confusion all the while just letting things pass us by, so one day we can look back and wonder.

What would have happened if I spoke up?

What would have happened if I said more?

What would have happened I I truely expressed?

What would have happened if I had just LISTENED to myself that first time before the doubt, internal arguments with self and “logic” came into play.

We are harsher critics on ourselves that we are on anyone else and often that is our undoing, just as you can look other people and list their traits, all the admirable things we can see from the outside… You can look at a person and rattle them off, they’re intelligent, they’re confident, they know their stuff, they’re beautiful, they’re so loving and caring….

But how often are we sitting there writing a list about all of our amazing traits?

How often do we hear that inner voice pull us down and go woahhhh, hang on just a second? I am strong, I am beautiful, I am WORTHY, i am kind & just roll with believing in that?

How often do we back our gifts, our talents, our word, and just go you know what I am me, and that is fucking incredible?

How often do we commit to our selves to being all of us, to expressing all of us, to actually putting that side of us on the line and embodying all we are, body, mind, spirt, words, thoughts, opinions, beliefs and all?
